These gold earrings draw from the harmony of repetition, built around a signature patterned unit.
Each repeating element features a rose-cut diamond framed within a black square—an effect inspired by traditional Hyderabadi kaam—paired with two elongated leaf motifs set with natural brilliant-cut diamonds, all emerging from a ruby accent.

Five parallel rows of this pattern cascade one below the other, progressing from one unit to two, to three, and then tapering back to two and one. From each element, delicate fringes of cultured pearls and small gold and red-enameled beads are suspended, bringing fluidity and movement to the design. The entire composition is finished with approximately ten man-hours of meticulous pirai—the art of stringing beads using fine gold wire.

The characteristic black surrounding the square motifs is typical of the Hyderabadi technique and is used to heighten the brilliance of the rose-cut diamonds.
