The design of these ear studs is centered around one of the most prominent motifs in Indian jewelry—the peacock, a symbol of joy, beauty, and pride. The peacock is kundan-set with polki/uncut diamond and red glass-filled stones, which add a beautiful contrast when juxtaposed with the uncut diamonds.
The crown and wings of the peacock are lined with fungar—small gold cups to which pearls, with red beads, are wired. Clusters of seed pearls, suspended from small gold units form the feet.
